Accounting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Support the management of all accounting operations for the US and EMEA offices of eMaint.

• Collect and assess data to deliver timely and precise financial information for reporting, analysis, and budget comparisons.

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts while investigating any unusual activities or fluctuations.

• Oversee revenue schedules.

• Lead the statutory audit for EMEA.

• Ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded in the general ledger.

• Facilitate a prompt and accurate Month End Close and Reporting cycle within stringent deadlines.

• Engage in process enhancements and spearhead efforts to develop SOP documents.

• Contribute to achieving Working Capital objectives.

• Assist with various tax filings and special projects as needed.

• Generate miscellaneous ad-hoc reports.

• Prepare journal entries in alignment with accrual basis accounting, ensuring proper evaluation of supporting documentation.

• Report directly to the Senior Finance and Accounting Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.

• A preference for candidates with 5 years of relevant experience.

• Strong understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.

• Experience in the SaaS industry is a plus.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel is essential.

• Familiarity with Hyperion/Essbase is an advantage.

• An independent thinker and self-starter.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to work occasional extended hours and travel as necessary.

• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with the team.
