Accounting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Execute the monthly accounting close and generate financial statements, including the Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, and Statement of Changes in Equity.

• Conduct accounting, balance sheet, and bank reconciliations, while also classifying and categorizing transactions.

• Examine balance sheets, journal entries, and other accounting data, pinpointing inconsistencies and making necessary adjustments and reclassifications.

• Oversee accounting operations for companies under the Presumed Profit and Actual Profit tax regimes.

• Assist in the preparation and submission of ancillary tax obligations, particularly ECD and ECF, along with the calculation and oversight of LALUR.

• Review previous periods and implement corrections to ensure information consistency.

• Handle concurrent demands from various clients, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.

• Analyze and resolve intricate accounting issues.

• Contribute to the organization and enhancement of departmental processes by identifying opportunities for efficiency through technology and automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Accounting, whether completed or in progress.

• Experience in accounting close processes, reconciliations, classifications, and journal entries.

• Familiarity with analyzing balance sheets and financial statements.

• Experience with companies operating under the Presumed Profit and Actual Profit tax regimes.

• Practical knowledge of ECD and ECF requirements.

• Experience using the Domínio accounting system.

• Proficiency in Excel.

• Experience in high-volume environments and/or managing multiple clients concurrently.

• Ability to analyze accounting data, recognize inconsistencies, and independently drive their resolution.

• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple demands, priorities, and deadlines.

• Preferred: background in accounting firms, BPO, or outsourced accounting operations.

• Preferred: experience with LALUR.

• Preferred: interest in technology, automation, and process enhancement.
