This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Promote AbbVie products to community/private practices, hospitals, and health systems to achieve or surpass sales targets.

• Build and sustain relationships with various medical accounts, including neurology, pain medicine, rehabilitation, primary care, pharmacy, urology, urogynecology, obstetrics and gynecology, female pelvic medicine, ambulatory surgical centers, and reconstructive surgery.

• Identify and address customer needs related to training, clinical support, operational assistance, and reimbursement.

• Utilize appropriate AbbVie resources to fulfill customer requirements.

• Provide educational support and clinical/injection training to residents, fellows, and hospital staff.

• Share anatomical and procedural details and instruct on injection techniques and postures.

• Leverage AbbVie sales and data tools while executing the U.S. Marketing Plan.

• Work collaboratively with other Account Specialists to promote products for approved uses.

• Conduct training sessions for residents and fellows at individual, departmental, or group levels within hospital or health-system accounts.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience.

• A minimum of five years of technical experience alongside three or more years of sales experience is required if a bachelor’s degree is not held.

• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.

• Experience with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy products is preferred, particularly in health systems and private practices.

• Capability to lift or pull training models weighing between 25–100 lbs.

• Ability to meet the hospital's credentialing and vaccination standards.

• Possession of a valid driver’s license.

• Ability to successfully pass pre-employment drug screening and fulfill safe driving prerequisites.

• Willingness to travel sufficiently to cover the territory, including overnight training sessions and sales meetings.

• A documented history of strong sales performance is preferred.

• Proficiency in managing complex sales and effectively communicating, presenting, and training diverse audiences.

• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing or be eligible to obtain them.

• Credentialing may encompass background checks, drug screenings, proof of immunization/vaccination, fingerprinting, and specific state or city licenses.
