This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Promote AbbVie products to achieve or surpass sales targets within community/private practices, hospitals, and health systems.
• Build and sustain relationships with accounts in neurology, pain medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, primary care, pharmacy, urology, urogynecology, obstetrics and gynecology, female pelvic medicine, ambulatory surgical centers, and reconstructive surgery.
• Assess customer needs related to training, clinical, operational, and reimbursement aspects, and fulfill them utilizing appropriate AbbVie resources.
• Offer education and clinical/injection training to residents, fellows, and essential hospital personnel.
• Convey anatomical and procedural information and training, covering anatomical terminology, injection paradigms/postures, and considerations related to anatomy and injections.
• Leverage AbbVie sales and data resources to enhance productivity and product growth while executing the U.S. Marketing Plan.
• Collaborate with fellow Account Specialists to promote products for approved indications.
• Implement individual, department, and group training sessions for residents and fellows within hospital and health-system accounts.
• A bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related discipline is preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience is required.
• Relevant equivalent industry experience in place of a bachelor’s degree: a minimum of five years of technical experience, including three or more years in sales is preferred.
• A high school diploma/GED is necessary when utilizing experience instead of a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy products within health systems and private practices is preferred.
• Capability to lift/pull training models weighing between 25–100 lbs.
• Ability to comply with hospital credentialing and vaccination requirements.
• A valid driver’s license is essential.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and fulfill safe driving requirements.
• Willingness to travel as needed to cover the territory, including overnight attendance at scheduled training events and sales meetings.
• A documented history of strong sales performance, ideally in a clinical, technical, or consultative sales role involving multiple decision-makers.
• Proficient in managing complex sales and rapidly acquiring knowledge about procedural, technical, clinical, and anatomical information.
• Ability to effectively communicate, present, and train diverse audiences.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements, which may include background checks, drug screenings, proof of immunizations/vaccinations, fingerprinting, and specific state or city licenses.
• Must be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain the necessary HCIR credentials.
