Account Servicing Specialist – Pre 30 Day Collections

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Manage auto loan accounts that are less than 30 days overdue.

• Record all collection efforts utilizing loan servicing software.

• Adhere to and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and the FDCPA.

• Negotiate payment plans with borrowers.

• Recommend strategies for borrowers to fulfill their loan obligations.

• Present alternative payment options and establish payment protocols.

• Support borrowers in creating plans to retain their vehicle while fulfilling loan responsibilities.

• Precisely and professionally document account details and collection activities.

• Utilize skip tracing tools and reference materials to identify and locate delinquent borrowers.

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the collections sector, preferably within the subprime consumer lending field.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to read, interpret, and apply federal, state, and local collections laws and regulations.

• Proficient in interacting with customers in a professional, tactful, and considerate manner.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment while working independently and collaboratively.

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and overtime as necessary.

• High School Diploma or GED is required.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is essential.

• Compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) is mandatory.
