Account Servicing Specialist – Impounds

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Manage auto loan accounts efficiently.

• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and the FDCPA to ensure compliance.

• Negotiate payment plans with borrowers to secure payment commitments and/or account reinstatements.

• Provide recommendations, suggest alternative payment options, and set up payment processes.

• Assess accounts for special assistance, such as loan modifications and extensions, while collecting necessary information and documentation.

• Initiate and oversee repossession activities to retrieve collateral.

• Accurately document account details and collection actions in a professional manner.

• Conduct skip-tracing investigations utilizing database searches and system records.

• Make outbound calls and handle inbound calls via auto-dialing or manual telephone systems.

• Maintain effective work performance on an assigned queue, aiming to meet or exceed daily and monthly targets.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the collections industry, ideally within the subprime consumer lending sector.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to read, interpret, and apply federal, state, and local collections regulations.

• Competence in interacting with customers in a professional, tactful, and sensitive manner.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and work both independently and collaboratively.

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and overtime as necessary.

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory.

• Adherence to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) is essential.
