Account Servicing Specialist – 90+ Day Collections

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Manage auto loan accounts that are over 90 days overdue.

• Record all collection efforts using loan servicing software.

• Adhere to and guarantee compliance with company policies and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).

• Negotiate payment plans with borrowers.

• Provide recommendations to assist borrowers in fulfilling their obligations.

• Suggest alternative payment options and set up payment procedures.

• Support borrowers in developing strategies to retain their vehicles while satisfying loan commitments.

• Precisely and professionally record account details and collection actions.

• Employ skip tracing tools and reference materials to identify and locate delinquent borrowers.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in the collections sector, ideally within the subprime consumer lending market.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to read, interpret, and implement federal, state, and local collections regulations.

• Proficient in engaging with customers in a professional, tactful, and sensitive manner.

• Ability to excel in a dynamic work environment and work both independently and collaboratively.

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and overtime when necessary.

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is mandatory.
