Account Servicing Specialist – 60 Day Collections

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Manage auto loan accounts that are 60 days overdue.

• Record all collection activities using loan servicing software.

• Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).

• Negotiate payment plans with borrowers.

• Offer suggestions for borrowers to fulfill their financial responsibilities.

• Recommend alternative payment methods and set up payment protocols.

• Assist borrowers in creating strategies to retain their vehicles while fulfilling loan obligations.

• Accurately document account details and collection efforts in a professional manner.

• Utilize skip tracing tools and resources to identify and locate borrowers who have fallen behind on payments.

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in the collections sector, ideally within the subprime consumer lending field.

• Experience with reinstatements is advantageous.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to read, interpret, and apply federal, state, and local collections regulations.

• Proficient in interacting with customers in a professional, tactful, and sensitive manner.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment and work both independently and collaboratively.

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and overtime when required.

• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
