Account Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Develop or grow the book of business by converting competitors' clients and transforming assigned medium-sized accounts into larger accounts.

• Maintain ongoing customer interactions and manage expectations to enhance satisfaction.

• Drive revenue and profitability through the acquisition of new business and the further development of existing accounts.

• Generate new leads via networking, cold calls, directories, and online research.

• Engage in face-to-face interactions with customers to cultivate relationships and ensure satisfaction.

• Comprehend complex customer needs for tailored quoting.

• Deliver compelling sales presentations while ensuring all technical requirements are fulfilled.

• Assist with on-site troubleshooting of customer issues.

• Collaborate with vendor resources to build relationships and support sales efforts.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally requires a bachelor's degree.

• 0–2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Familiarity with industrial products including power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other industrial items.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient understanding of essential sales principles and best practices.

• Capacity to influence customers while maintaining positive relationships.

• Ability to take initiative and work with limited supervision.

• Skill in multitasking and effective time management.

• Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications.

• Travel may be required.

• Availability for on-call duties during nights or weekends may be necessary, depending on demand.

• A valid driver's license is required.
