This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Formulate a long-term strategy for the Urology homecare business in the Midlands region.
• Propel sales and expand market share for intermittent catheters and bladder-management products.
• Develop and implement tactical initiatives to enhance awareness and adoption of Teleflex Urology products.
• Oversee the Midlands ICB territory, encompassing Black Country, Staffordshire & Stoke-on-Trent, Birmingham & Solihull, Coventry & Warwickshire, Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland, Derby & Derbyshire, Nottingham & Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, and Herefordshire & Worcestershire.
• Create strategies based on data for short-, medium-, and long-term planning.
• Identify and outline profitable business opportunities.
• Sustain and protect sales within the designated territory.
• Offer expert knowledge on product usage.
• Establish and nurture relationships with key opinion leaders and customers in both acute and community settings.
• Design sales and commercial strategies aimed at driving annual revenue growth.
• Monitor market trends, market size, customer segments, competition, and emerging technologies.
• Keep track of competitor activities and proactively address issues and opportunities.
• Secure, manage, and implement formularies.
• Present NHS business cases focusing on cost efficiency and savings.
• Conduct regular performance assessments utilizing activity metrics, sales data, market data, and other resources.
• Provide monthly forecasts for the specified area.
• Collaborate with the National Sales Manager and Sales and Marketing teams.
• Coordinate with cross-functional partners including Marcom, R&D, CMA, and Operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business (or a related field) or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in medical devices or pharmaceuticals.
• Preferred knowledge of urology and urology products.
• Strong relationships with local urology nurse specialists and continence advisors are desirable.
• Familiarity with urology products, their usage environments, and target audiences.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting from concept through to development, review, and timely execution.
• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• A successful history of exceeding revenue targets compared to sales plans.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Strong negotiation skills and adaptability to changing work priorities.
• Robust analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Valid driver’s license with no more than 6 points.
• Less than 20% travel required outside of the UK.
• Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret engineering specifications, business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, specifications, business correspondence, and procedure manuals in English.
• Competence in presenting information and addressing questions from managers, clients, and customers.
• Capability to clearly communicate project achievements, challenges, issues, and status updates.
