Account Manager – EMEA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Acquire an in-depth understanding of DoiT’s business operations, cloud management platform, services, and customer requirements.

• Take ownership of assigned customers, maintaining communication and collaborating with vendor teams on growth prospects.

• Oversee customer support escalations until resolution while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

• Negotiate and finalize long-term commitments with key stakeholders.

• Discover new workload opportunities within customers’ cloud environments and SaaS solutions.

• Establish regular engagement with the entire customer portfolio while effectively balancing strategic and emerging clients.

• Collect customer feedback to ensure products and solutions align with their needs.

• Provide insights and requests to engineering teams, assisting in prioritizing development deliverables.

• Conduct quarterly customer reviews that cover project timelines, projected spending on cloud platforms, and DoiT support and engagement.

• Foster and enhance relationships with key cloud providers.

• Identify opportunities for cost optimization within customer cloud environments.

• Collaborate with cloud vendor sales representatives on shared customers.

• Cultivate existing customer relationships, pinpoint additional engagement opportunities, support vendor-team account growth, and ensure customer retention.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Account Management catering to the EMEA market.

• At least 2 years of experience in a technology company (SaaS, SI, Cloud Vendor, etc.).

• Experience in supporting customers within the AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure ecosystems, or other cloud vendors.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Swedish.

• Strong technical skills that facilitate productive interactions with technical teams.

• Ability to build impactful relationships.

• Exceptional operational and administrative skills.

• Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail.

• Capacity to transition between high-level concepts and detailed tasks.

• Willingness to grow within the organization and expand skill sets.

• Cloud Certifications (such as AWS Cloud Practitioner or Google Cloud Digital Leader) are advantageous but not mandatory.
