This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Implement sales strategies to enhance performance within the designated geographical area.
• Achieve overall sales targets and growth-product quotas through effective demand generation.
• Introduce new products and service offerings while generating leads for new equipment.
• Exhibit solution-selling skills and develop expertise in technical and veterinary practices.
• Foster relationships with targeted hospitals and personnel to ensure account relevance and access.
• Engage with customers in accordance with Zoetis promotional guidelines.
• Formulate and implement territory business plans and allocate resources accordingly.
• Fulfill field activity expectations, including sales calls and participation in medical education programs.
• Create and execute call cycles at both account and veterinarian levels.
• Collaborate professionally with Zoetis Petcare colleagues while adhering to integrity, compliance, administrative, communication, and teamwork standards.
• Travel within the assigned territory and occasionally work evenings for educational programs.
• A bachelor's degree (BS/BA) is required.
• 3-10 years of proven and successful consultative sales experience.
• A track record of success in previous roles, including creatively identifying opportunities or resolving issues to boost sales performance.
• Capability to leverage analytics and insights for improved decision-making and tactical execution.
• Strong follow-through skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Competence in managing assigned expense budgets.
• Highly motivated and results-driven, capable of identifying goals and priorities and addressing issues at their inception.
• Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a close-knit team environment; self-starter.
• Knowledge and experience in Animal Health and small animal veterinary medicine.
• Openness to receiving and integrating feedback.
• Strong verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and make fair decisions based on relevant information.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and the capacity to learn Zoetis systems.
• Willingness to travel and work some evenings as necessary.
• All applicants must have or obtain authorization to work in the US for Zoetis.
