This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Propel revenue growth and enhance market presence for Infinidat’s enterprise storage solutions within the Chicago region.
• Discover, cultivate, and finalize new business opportunities while overseeing and expanding selected existing accounts.
• Establish and nurture strategic relationships with prospects, customers, business partners, and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with a dedicated Pre-Sales Systems Engineer to formulate and implement territory strategies.
• Navigate complex sales cycles and align Infinidat’s solutions with customer business and technical needs.
• Regularly travel throughout the assigned territory to engage with customers and partners.
• Meet or surpass assigned quotas through direct sales and business partnerships.
• Initiate new enterprise accounts with an emphasis on acquiring new logos and expanding market reach.
• Create proposals and deliver impactful presentations.
• Coordinate RFP/RFI responses in collaboration with partners and internal teams.
• Ensure customer and partner satisfaction within the territory.
• Effectively position platform value and capabilities to win new business.
• Penetrate large enterprise accounts and generate opportunities.
• Influence both internal and external stakeholders to meet strategic business goals.
• Exhibit independent thinking and problem-solving while utilizing internal resources and partner ecosystems.
• 5–10 years of quota-bearing sales experience, particularly in enterprise storage and/or enterprise technology sales.
• Proven success in selling enterprise data storage solutions to large organizations and managing intricate sales cycles.
• Established relationships within the assigned territory and a strong professional network.
• Demonstrated ability to open new accounts, acquire new logos, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
• Capacity to engage with executive leadership and technical stakeholders.
• Proficient in qualifying, developing, and closing opportunities utilizing company resources, partners, and internal teams.
• Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
• Preferred experience with established storage infrastructure vendors or business partners like EMC, HDS, IBM, HP, and NetApp.
• Ability to enhance customer satisfaction throughout the pre-sales and post-sales lifecycle.
• Proven success in leading competitive displacement campaigns and conducting TCO analysis and Proof of Concept (POC) engagements.
• Experience collaborating with channel and business partners.
• Strong capability to influence stakeholders, drive decisions, prioritize opportunities, and achieve business objectives.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
