This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in China, +3 more countries.
• Take ownership of and manage a portfolio of TPP suppliers located in Asia, ensuring a high level of competitiveness and sustainable performance for hotel inventory.
• Evaluate supplier performance through key business and operational metrics, identify the underlying causes of any underperformance, and establish actionable improvement strategies.
• Negotiate and enhance commercial and payment terms in alignment with business objectives.
• Supervise API feed integrations and configurations, serving as a senior escalation point for intricate technical issues.
• Facilitate the resolution of supplier-related operational challenges by closely collaborating with Technical, Product, Finance, and Customer Support teams.
• Participate in internal cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment on supplier-related objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
• Prioritize suppliers and initiatives based on their impact on the business, proactively managing partners that are underperforming or yielding low returns.
• Ideally, possess 2+ years of experience in supplier management, account management, partnerships, or a related role within the travel or hospitality industry.
• Demonstrated experience in managing external partners, negotiating commercial terms, and enhancing supplier performance.
• Proficient in working with business and operational metrics, identifying root causes, and transforming data into actionable enhancements.
• Familiar with API integrations and capable of understanding and resolving complex technical issues alongside relevant teams.
• Confident in collaborating with Technical, Product, Finance, Customer Support, and other teams to drive issues and initiatives toward resolution.
• Proactive, organized, and comfortable managing multiple suppliers and initiatives, prioritizing based on business impact.
• Ability to effectively engage with partners and stakeholders across various markets and cultural contexts.
