
Account Manager β Agriculture & Consumer Goods

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Develop and oversee a growing territory in Regina and throughout Saskatchewan.
β’ Establish high-trust relationships with commercial grain producers, mixed operations, retailers, and agronomists.
β’ Manage the entire sales process from territory planning to closing deals and enhancing customer value.
β’ Promote and distinguish Optimize RX, crop marketing solutions, IoT, and Sure Check.
β’ Create an annual business plan for the territory and review it monthly with leadership.
β’ Oversee accounts throughout the entire sales pipeline, maintaining closure rates and average revenue per account.
β’ Utilize Salesforce CRM to forecast, monitor the pipeline, and refine territory strategy.
β’ Implement corporate sales strategy while considering Saskatchewan's seasonal cycles and market conditions.
β’ Act as a trusted advisor, linking agronomic planning with measurable ROI and operational efficiency.
β’ Provide essential technical support, including software navigation, file loading, and troubleshooting.
β’ Collaborate with the customer success team to enhance customer value and product adoption.
β’ Cultivate and strengthen relationships with retail partners and agronomy advisors.
β’ Engage in trade shows, farm events, and community initiatives.
β’ Develop and manage a promotional budget for the territory.
β’ Establish a network of key customers and influencers.
β’ Report to the Regional Sales Manager.
β’ A genuine curiosity about farmers' challenges and a commitment to solutions that promote long-term profitability and operational success.
β’ Experience in farming, crop input sales, agronomy, farm retail advisory, or a related agricultural role.
β’ Familiarity with Saskatchewan farming and the decision-making processes of farmers.
β’ A proven history of successfully closing deals in a farming or agricultural business context.
β’ Ability to communicate confidently at the farm level, listen effectively, and gain trust from farmers and agricultural professionals.
β’ Comfort with farm financials, including accounting, ROI, and margin analysis.
β’ Capability to assist farmers in understanding the business rationale for adopting digital tools.
β’ Proficiency in Salesforce, including maintaining the pipeline, accurate forecasting, and leveraging CRM insights.
β’ Ability to juggle multiple priorities, execute territory plans, and fulfill commitments.
β’ Sales training or certification is a plus.
β’ CCA or P.Ag credentials are beneficial.
β’ Familiarity with farm management software, precision agriculture platforms, or agricultural retail advisory tools is advantageous.
β’ A minimum of 3 weeks of vacation.
