This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +2 more countries.
• Oversee and expand a portfolio of accounts throughout the EMEA region.
• Create and implement long-term account strategies that align with both customer and business goals.
• Establish trusted partnerships with senior stakeholders and executive decision-makers.
• Recognize and capitalize on growth opportunities within current accounts and target markets.
• Lead intricate commercial negotiations and enterprise contracts.
• Collaborate closely with technical, marketing, supply chain, and operations teams to provide customer solutions.
• Advocate for customer needs internally and assist in shaping commercial and market strategies.
• Maintain a strong customer presence through regular site visits and face-to-face interactions.
• Provide support to customers in aerospace, clean energy, semiconductors, AI, advanced electronics, medical technology, automotive, industrial systems, and related sectors.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, chemistry, business, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in account management, enterprise sales, channel management, or commercial leadership within the (fluoro)polymer sector.
• At least a few years of tenure with the same organization.
• Background in polymers, fluoropolymers, specialty chemicals, advanced materials, or related industries.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex and strategic customer relationships and commercial contracts.
• Strong comprehension of strategic markets such as semiconductors, aerospace, automotive, medical, clean energy, or data centers.
• Exceptional strategic planning and negotiation abilities.
• Capability to influence within intricate stakeholder environments.
• Experience with CRM and account planning.
• Proficiency in English.
• Knowledge of German is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in German and Italian is a significant advantage.
