This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Achieve and surpass sales targets set by management for the designated territory.
• Showcase a comprehensive understanding of the CooperVision Specialty portfolio, utilizing professional selling skills and technical expertise to enhance market share.
• Utilize sales, marketing, and educational resources to ensure acceptance among practitioners.
• Apply knowledge of the industry, competitors, and product offerings to fulfill customer requirements.
• Develop and implement an effective call cycle and business plan for the territory.
• Regularly analyze key metrics to support adjustments in the growth strategy.
• Address customer inquiries within a 24-hour timeframe.
• Integrate and train clients on CooperVision Specialty technology and value-added products.
• Attend state, regional, and national optical events when requested, including weekends.
• Submit CRM call reports, expense reports, territory assessments, and other necessary administrative documentation.
• Identify the need for value-added tools and collaborate with departments to produce practice management resources for eye care practitioners.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Engage in up to 50% overnight travel within the territory.
• A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in medical devices or contact lenses, demonstrating a successful track record.
• Experience in fitting specialty contact lenses is advantageous.
• A strong understanding of the contact lens and optical industry is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree required, or a suitable combination of education and experience.
• NCLE certification preferred.
• Certifications such as CLSA, ABO, COA, or COT are preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Daily use of CRM for documenting customer interactions and analyzing product performance, account sales, and territory expansion.
• Strong organizational skills and capability in territory management.
• Ability to foresee, comprehend, and prioritize customer needs.
• Capability to adapt to fluctuating work environments and diverse situations, individuals, and teams.
• Ability to work independently.
• Proficient verbal, writing, and reading skills.
• Ability to collaborate with other departments.
• Competence in planning and delivering internal and external presentations for customer groups.
• Demonstrated expertise in the specialty contact lens market and familiarity with the CooperVision Specialty portfolio.
• Must reside within the assigned territory or within approximately 20 miles of its radius.
• Must be authorized for permanent and ongoing work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
• Willingness to travel within the territory, including overnight travel up to 50% and occasional attendance at weekend optical events.
• Starting base salary ranging from $97,606.00 to $130,141.00 per annum.
• Potential for cost of living adjustments.
• Eligibility for additional forms of compensation and benefits.
