This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage the complete sales process for designated accounts, encompassing self-generated leads, discovery, commercial structuring, negotiation, and finalization.
• Promote TWAICE to Independent Power Producers (IPPs), utilities, and developers within asset management, performance engineering, operations and maintenance, procurement, and CFO functions.
• Conduct credible technical discussions and engage a Solution Engineer as necessary.
• Finalize pilot projects, transition them into multi-year contracts, and expand from initial locations to larger fleets.
• Position TWAICE in comparison to OEM-bundled tools, energy management systems (EMS) related platforms, and proprietary analytics.
• Collaborate with the Business Development Representative on targeted accounts and with Customer Success on contract renewals and growth opportunities.
• Represent TWAICE at industry conferences throughout the Americas.
• Travel around 30% of the time for client meetings.
• Established network in storage or renewable energy sectors, with identifiable target accounts.
• Knowledge of the purchasing processes of IPPs and utilities, including extended sales cycles, multiple stakeholders, capital committees, procurement gates, and the differences between regulated and merchant operators.
• Proven history of securing self-sourced accounts and successful deals in the energy sector, particularly with IPPs and utilities.
• 3–10 years of relevant experience.
• Capability to comprehend and present a technically intricate product without the assistance of a Solution Engineer.
• Skill in tailoring sales discussions to various personas and addressing technical objections effectively.
• Competence to work efficiently with an incomplete playbook and establish necessary processes.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient English language skills are essential.
