This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Promote the Shield™ colorectal cancer blood test to healthcare providers in primary care environments.
• Meet or surpass sales goals by engaging in prospecting, relationship-building, and implementing national sales strategies.
• Establish connections with healthcare providers and secure their commitment to adopting Shield for CRC and other cancers.
• Employ challenger selling techniques to comprehend provider needs and illustrate how Guardant Health's solutions enhance outcomes and optimize practices.
• Educate and train primary care practices on products, facilitating stakeholder adoption and workflow integration.
• Collaborate with clinical, marketing, and product teams to devise sales strategies and business plans.
• Identify new business prospects within the designated territory.
• Cultivate partnerships with regional and local laboratories to broaden reach and solidify phlebotomy draw agreements.
• Create and implement business plans that support the launch of new cancer screening technologies.
• Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback.
• Report insights and opportunities to the Commercial Team and leadership.
• Deliver high-touch customer service and proactively address issues throughout the sales process.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and regulations while managing projects and deadlines.
• A minimum of 4 years of customer-facing sales experience in the healthcare sector (including diagnostics, medical devices, or pharmaceutical sales), or at least 2 years of customer-facing healthcare sales experience along with direct clinical experience in a patient care setting as a registered nurse or physician assistant.
• Demonstrated history of success and a drive for achievement.
• Capability to engage in sales conversations, overcome objections, and align client needs with product offerings.
• Strong understanding of the healthcare provider landscape.
• Quick learner with the ability to apply technical product knowledge effectively.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce, Veeva, or comparable platforms.
• Outstanding negotiation, problem-solving, and customer service abilities.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel daily within the assigned territory and occasionally nationwide for sales meetings.
• Curiosity, sound judgment, and the capacity to critically evaluate and responsibly utilize AI-enabled tools in alignment with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to sit for extended periods.
• Background screening, including criminal history, is required.
