This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Oversee all facets of account management.
• Cultivate and sustain strategic business connections with corporate and senior management personnel in key accounts.
• Build multi-level relationships to enhance representative access, foster new business, optimize resource utilization, and boost sales and market share.
• Collaborate with Federal Account Executive teams to manage and identify significant target account opportunities within the VA.
• Formulate product strategies to penetrate targeted accounts.
• Provide both strategic and tactical guidance to regional and district teams within AbbVie’s Psychiatry Retail Franchise.
• Offer insights to sales and marketing management regarding challenges and opportunities within key target accounts.
• Evaluate and support channel-specific training needs within the region.
• Create annual business plans aimed at increasing sales volume and market share across FDA-approved indications.
• Identify local opportunities and threats, adjusting business plans as necessary.
• Analyze financial and quantitative data for strategic decision-making.
• Assess the business impact and profitability of target account opportunities.
• Collaborate with Field Sales Managers to assess and penetrate non-retail account drivers within MSAs.
• Propel target account volume and share growth through analysis, recommendations, and execution by District Managers and representatives.
• Serve VA inpatient community mental health centers and hospitals.
• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience required.
• Minimum of 2 years of sales or account management experience.
• At least 3 years of Health Science Field or Sales experience, including a minimum of 2 years in pharmaceutical sales.
• In lieu of a degree: 8+ years of Health Science Sales experience, including at least 4 years in pharmaceutical sales.
• Strong networking and partnership capability across functional areas.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities.
• Proven track record of managing multiple stakeholders in complex environments.
• Must meet applicable health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements and maintain good standing and/or be eligible to obtain credentials.
• Must live within a reasonable distance of Nashville, TN.
• Ability to operate a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
