
Account Executive – Point of Care Diagnostics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Promote Abbott Point of Care solutions to outpatient clients across Colorado, Wyoming, and Southern Montana.
• Operate autonomously within a designated territory to spearhead commercial initiatives, enhance market presence, and foster sustainable growth.
• Establish, nurture, and expand relationships with Abbott Point of Care and distributor partners.
• Meet sales objectives through proficient sales-cycle and territory management.
• Identify and cultivate key opinion leaders who can champion point-of-care solutions.
• Sustain the existing sales base while securing new business within both new and current accounts.
• Navigate intricate sales environments involving multiple stakeholders and evolving decision-making processes.
• Formulate and implement sales strategies, including plans for risk mitigation.
• Execute administrative responsibilities such as completing training modules, expense reports, and sales forecasts in a timely and precise manner.
• Conduct territory analysis to assess Total Available Market and devise targeting strategies.
• Adhere to relevant EHS policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Establish and uphold the effectiveness of the Quality System.
• Deliver customer-oriented service through up to 50% travel, which may include some regional overnight trips.
• Report directly to the District Manager.
• Bachelor's degree.
• 4+ years of pertinent sales experience OR 1+ years of sales experience with a clinical background (BSN, MLT, CLS, RT, Cardiac Tech, etc.).
• Must reside within the assigned territory.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory and to other business locations as required.
• Preferred experience in diagnostics, point of care (POC), laboratory, or capital equipment sales.
• Distribution experience is preferred.
• Established connections within the assigned territory are preferred.
• Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) are preferred.
• High proficiency in using Salesforce.com or a comparable CRM platform is preferred.
• Preferred sales training and experience with effective sales methodologies.
• A documented track record of consistent sales overachievement is preferred.
