This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Lead strategic business growth and partnership opportunities with prominent U.S. cancer centers, clinics, oncology practices, Key Opinion Leaders, and Academic Medical Centers.

• Develop strategic plans to acquire and retain both new and existing clients.

• Optimize client-billing contracting opportunities.

• Establish laboratory services agreements with billing account institutions.

• Collaborate with sales leadership and team members to achieve company objectives.

• Identify and cultivate partnership opportunities between potential oncology clients and Guardant Health.

• Advocate for compliance with web-based molecular information tools.

• Evaluate the competitive landscape within assigned accounts and relay customer feedback to leadership.

• Track sales performance in relation to objectives.

• Create and execute a comprehensive territory business plan that includes budgets, travel, territory management, and goal-setting.

• Collaborate effectively across various departments.

• Represent Guardant Health’s corporate culture to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Promote Guardant Health’s liquid biopsy products and identify opportunities within healthcare practices, cancer centers, IDNs, and academic medical centers.

• Present integrated molecular diagnostic solutions utilizing Guardant Health’s next-generation sequencing technology.

• Manage the designated territory through regular travel.


⛳️ Requirements

• 2–3 years of direct account management experience in a molecular diagnostic environment with a proven track record.

• 3–5 years of experience engaging with major cancer centers and clinics, oncology GPOs, large health systems, IDNs, and extensive oncology practices.

• Demonstrated measurable revenue generation at a diagnostic, pharmaceutical, or relevant biotechnology firm.

• Ability to deliver integrated molecular diagnostic solutions leveraging next-generation sequencing technology.

• Capacity to engage in consultative selling, address objections, and align client needs with company capabilities.

• Proficient in communicating, presenting, and selling at the executive level, including interactions with CEO, COO, and CFO stakeholders.

• Strong understanding of the oncology and diagnostic payer and reimbursement landscape.

• Ability to work autonomously, communicate proactively, manage multiple projects, prioritize daily tasks, and meet critical deadlines.

• Comprehensive knowledge of molecular diagnostics for oncology and the competitive landscape.

• Familiarity with market dynamics, customer needs, distribution channels, and product specifics.

• Knowledge of oncology, hematology, chemotherapeutics, and targeted agents.

• Exceptional negotiation and customer service capabilities.

• Skills in strategic sales account planning.

• Proficient listening and problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to manage sensitive information while ensuring confidentiality.

• Consistent ability to close deals throughout the sales process.

• Strong oral and verbal communication, along with presentation skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

• Regular use of Salesforce.com.

• Ability to develop and leverage cross-functional relationships.

• Capacity to work effectively with minimal supervision.

• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and technical learning capabilities.

• Excellent administrative skills and sophistication in complex settings.

• Ability to exhibit integrity, respect, trust, a positive attitude, and a comprehension of organizational growth and change.

• Willingness to travel frequently, exceeding 50% throughout the territory.

• Bachelor of Science degree in life sciences, biology, business, or marketing is preferred.

• Ability to critically assess and responsibly utilize AI-enabled tools in alignment with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Background screening, including criminal history, is mandatory.

• Base salary range of $142,200 - $195,550 per year.
