Account Executive, Client Services – Retirement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Deliver client services to partners, intermediaries, and plan sponsors.

• Cultivate and sustain a comprehensive understanding of retirement plans and Ascensus products and services.

• Take responsibility for client issues while providing subject matter expertise on daily operations.

• Offer value-added consulting to enhance client satisfaction and ensure plan retention.

• Develop insights into the business, products, and services offered.

• Provide proactive and professional client service.

• Establish effective working relationships with teams and internal departments.

• Conduct research, troubleshoot problems, and resolve issues.

• Identify, track, monitor, and resolve items for assigned clients.

• Ensure that inquiries and issues are addressed and that service levels are maintained.

• Communicate effectively with clients and advisors throughout the service process.

• Support client retention by responding appropriately to client communications and activities.

• Meet service, growth, and retention objectives for the assigned portfolio.

• Prioritize tasks and manage time to deliver efficient and high-quality service.

• Address inquiries related to plan activities, including compliance testing, quarterly statements, and RMDs.

• Generate, analyze, and distribute regular reports.

• Assist the sales team in securing additional business and provide references as needed.

• Carry out additional duties and participate in special projects as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced service environment.

• 1-3 years of direct client experience in financial services is preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Capable of communicating effectively, clearly, concisely, and professionally with all levels within the Ascensus organization and with clients.

• Proficient in MS Office software applications, particularly Word and Excel.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to collaborate in a team environment to provide outstanding client service.

• Adaptable to changing environments and shifting priorities based on business and client demands.

• Competent in working well under pressure with multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Sound business judgment in determining which issues warrant escalation to the appropriate authority.

• Willingness to work overtime to fulfill business unit needs.
