This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Establish and nurture robust relationships with local and state public safety agencies within the designated territory.
• Act as a trusted consultant by comprehending operational challenges and proposing customized communication technology solutions.
• Identify new business prospects while enhancing and broadening existing customer relationships.
• Oversee the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement and opportunity development to closing and ongoing account expansion.
• Collaborate across the organization to provide outstanding customer experiences and promote long-term customer loyalty.
• Create and implement territory strategies that stimulate revenue growth and align with business objectives.
• Promptly follow up on leads and customer opportunities with urgency and professionalism.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to strategically position MCA solutions.
• Elevate MCA's standing as a dependable communications partner for public safety agencies across the territory.
• Regularly travel within the assigned territory to engage with clients, participate in events, and cultivate customer relationships.
• Independently manage schedules and travel to ensure consistent face-to-face customer interactions.
• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of sales or public safety experience preferred, or 5+ years of direct sales or public safety experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in public safety through direct service or sales roles targeting public safety markets.
• Familiarity with Two-Way Radio, Land Mobile Radio, or critical communications is advantageous.
• Proven history of achieving performance targets and delivering measurable results.
• Capacity to build credibility with public safety stakeholders and comprehend operational challenges.
• Excellent communication skills coupled with a collaborative, service-oriented mindset.
• Ability to effectively convey product features, benefits, and value to customers.
• High self-motivation and personal drive; capability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
• Energetic, results-oriented approach with a sense of ownership, attention to detail, and accountability.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Ability to successfully pass a background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record (MVR) check.
• Must reside in Virginia, with a preference for eastern Virginia.
• Comfortable with independent travel within the assigned territory.
