This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Identify and engage with healthcare providers whose patients could benefit from Shield for CRC and other cancer screening technologies.
• Achieve or surpass sales objectives.
• Drive strategic growth and partnership opportunities with primary care practices.
• Develop territory business strategies that align with national brand objectives and marketing initiatives.
• Secure and sustain laboratory and phlebotomy draw agreements, including conducting in-services, training for specimen collection, providing workflow support, and resolving issues.
• Identify and communicate marketplace opportunities and best practices to sales, marketing, customer experience, laboratory operations, and leadership teams.
• Keep track of competitive activities and trends in assigned markets.
• Plan effective approaches and presentations to attract potential customers.
• Execute promotional and marketing activities in compliance with industry standards and company policies.
• Leverage internal resources to address customer needs.
• Work collaboratively across departments and coordinate with sales teams to achieve organizational objectives.
• Represent Guardant Health’s culture to both external and internal stakeholders.
• Travel daily within the designated territory and occasionally outside for meetings and conferences.
• Adhere to the company’s mission and values.
• Support and comply with Quality Management System policies and procedures.
• A minimum of 5 years of direct experience in a customer-facing sales role within the healthcare sector, preferably in diagnostics, medical devices, and/or pharmaceutical sales.
• Exceptional strategic sales account planning abilities.
• Excellent listening and problem-solving capabilities.
• Capacity to manage sensitive information while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage business in complex settings.
• Proficient in in-person, phone, and virtual selling environments.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record to facilitate field office and customer visits.
• Ability to meet specific entry/access requirements for doctor offices and health clinics.
• Willingness to travel daily throughout the territory as necessary.
• Capability to identify and collaborate with national, regional, and local laboratories providing phlebotomy draw agreements.
• Demonstrates curiosity, sound judgment, and the ability to evaluate and responsibly utilize AI-enabled tools in line with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Background screening, including criminal history, is mandatory.
