This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Drive the promotion of Capitol Services' offerings.
• Build and sustain long-term business relationships with both new and existing clients in the Mid-Atlantic region.
• Enhance sales through effective communication with current and potential clients.
• Comprehend, anticipate, and fulfill the needs of clients and prospective clients.
• Arrange meetings with clients and prospects, and create follow-up action plans.
• Identify and address client issues to ensure retention and growth.
• Increase market awareness of the company's services and sector expertise.
• Keep records of client communications and contact details.
• Respond to requests for proposals and information.
• Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.
• Relay client and prospective client information to relevant employees and management.
• Conduct market research and stay informed about competitor products and pricing.
• Submit sales status reports to management, detailing activity, closings, follow-ups, and goal adherence.
• A Bachelor's degree and/or 4+ years of applicable sales experience in the industry.
• Alternatively, experience as a transactional attorney or corporate paralegal in a large law firm or a Fortune 1000 corporate legal department.
• Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience dealing with Adobe PDF documents.
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize assignments effectively.
• Keen attention to detail and a reasonable sense of urgency.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Positive customer service mindset with the capacity to handle problems or complaints patiently.
• Willingness to embrace new tools and learn new processes and technologies.
• Capacity to adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to retain and apply instruction and training.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Must be available to work regular business hours remotely while residing in Delaware or Virginia.
• Ability to uphold client confidentiality.
• Must thrive in an entrepreneurial atmosphere.
• Valid driver's license with a good-standing driving record.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule and travel up to 50% of the time.
• Punctuality and the ability to adhere to an assigned work schedule.
• Initial assigned account base guarantees a total minimum compensation of $115,000 for the first year.
• Uncapped commission structure, with OTE ranging from $115,000 to $250,000+ in the first year.
• Fully remote position.
