This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Advocate for the promotion and sale of Capitol Services’ offerings.
• Build and sustain enduring business relationships with both new and existing clients in the Mid-Atlantic region.
• Enhance sales through effective communication with current and potential clients.
• Comprehend, predict, and fulfill the needs of clients and prospective clients.
• Arrange meetings with clients and potential clients, and create follow-up action plans.
• Identify and address client issues to guarantee client retention and growth.
• Increase awareness of the company’s services and industry expertise.
• Keep detailed records of client communications and contact details.
• Respond to inquiries regarding proposals and information.
• Attend and engage in trade shows, conferences, and various marketing events.
• Relay client and potential client information to employees, including management, as necessary.
• Conduct market research and stay informed about competitor products and pricing.
• Provide sales status reports to management, detailing activities, closings, follow-ups, and adherence to targets.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or over 4 years of relevant sales experience in the industry.
• Alternatively, experience as a transactional attorney or corporate paralegal in a large law firm or a Fortune 1000 legal department.
• Familiarity with CRM systems, such as Salesforce.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Capability to interact with Adobe PDF documents.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Skill in multitasking and prioritizing projects and assignments.
• Strong attention to detail and a reasonable sense of urgency.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional and amicable communication with clients, colleagues, correspondents, and others.
• Positive customer service attitude with the capacity to address problems or complaints patiently and courteously.
• Willingness to adopt new tools and learn new processes and technologies.
• Adaptability to shifting priorities in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to work standard business hours remotely from Delaware or Virginia.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule and travel up to 50% of the time.
• Submission of a resume and cover letter is required.
• Initial assigned account base resulting in a total minimum compensation of $115,000 for the first year.
• Uncapped commission structure.
