This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Engage with designated accounts to facilitate patient access within therapeutic area products.
• Deliver proactive in-person education on product-specific programs to healthcare providers and their staff.
• Evaluate reimbursement issues and propose effective solutions.
• Assist with inquiries regarding payer policies, drug acquisition, inventory management, and reimbursement for patients and practices.
• Assess account reimbursement challenges and identify opportunities.
• Recognize trends at local, regional, and national levels and collaborate internally and externally to enhance patient access.
• Coordinate with the Patient Support Center for patient case management, case tracking, issue resolution, reimbursement assistance, and staff education.
• Review patient-specific information as needed by sites to address coverage issues.
• Work alongside cross-functional associates to share insights regarding customer needs and barriers to access and reimbursement.
• Maintain knowledge of company policies and execute responsibilities in alignment with company Values and Behaviors.
• Manage Patient Identifiable Information with care to ensure compliance with privacy laws and company standards.
• A Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory.
• At least three to five years of experience in public or private third-party reimbursement or in the pharmaceutical sector, focusing on managed care, clinical support, or sales.
• Familiarity with specialty pharmacy products obtained via specialty pharmacy networks or specialty distributors (buy and bill).
• Knowledge of coding, billing, and office support systems.
• Previous account management experience or experience dealing with complex accounts.
• Understanding of Managed Care, Government, and Federal payer sectors.
• Knowledge of Integrated Delivery Networks/Integrated Health Systems.
• Capability to collaborate with various sales representatives, sales leadership, and internal team members.
• Must reside within the designated territory or within a reasonable daily commuting distance of 60 miles from the territory boundary.
• Willingness to travel 60–80% across a broad geographical area.
• Ability to drive and/or fly within the territory.
• Must possess a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and other relevant privacy laws and regulations.
• Experience in Buy and Bill environments, including reimbursement and access support for provider-administered therapies is preferred.
