This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee student workload and execute daily responsibilities as instructed by leadership via the Roadrunner System, Student Portfolio Report, or alternative tools.
• Actively identify and assist at-risk students by providing early resolutions and connecting them with resources for their success.
• Monitor student academic plans, course schedules, and overall progress to ensure adherence to University policies and Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards.
• Counsel students regarding financial aid requirements, university policies, and changes to their academic programs.
• Keep track of student balances, suggest lockouts or dismissals as needed, and aid in collection efforts to maintain manageable receivables.
• Uphold professionalism while assisting escalated students and delivering University communications.
• Engage in team meetings, training sessions, and departmental or special projects.
• Exhibit consistent and dependable attendance while performing other assigned duties.
• At least one (1) year of experience in advising, customer service, or a related field is required.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Experience in student services or training and development within a collegiate environment is preferred.
• Background in a fast-paced customer or student-focused role is preferred.
• Familiarity with higher education and technology-driven enterprises is preferred.
• Understanding of academic and business practices in an online university setting.
• Knowledge of University policies, procedures, and updates.
• Strong customer service orientation with the capability to manage conflict, de-escalate issues, and communicate professionally through all channels with students.
• A solution-focused mindset when supporting students, colleagues, faculty, and staff while adhering to University and federal guidelines.
• Awareness of financial aid programs, the FDCP Act, and standard payment practices.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Ensures confidentiality and integrity in all interactions and documentation.
• Proficient in written communication, report preparation, and utilizing technology for online engagement.
• A collaborative team player who contributes to a positive and productive work atmosphere.
• Knowledge of and alignment with the University’s mission, vision, and goals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Must be eligible to gain access to the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS).
