This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Collaborate with Veritas families to address students’ academic aspirations and requirements.
• Facilitate communication and provide administrative support between families, the Veritas Press office, and instructors at Veritas Scholars Academy.
• Counsel families regarding the Veritas K–12 curriculum, course offerings, graduation criteria, college admission standards, and scholarship opportunities.
• Conduct annual meetings with Classic families to review course planning, class scheduling, graduation progress, and address academic questions.
• Maintain and update student records, sharing relevant information with teachers and Diploma staff.
• Contact families before the academic year begins and conduct mid-year check-ins with families and teachers.
• Handle withdrawal documentation.
• Build and sustain relationships with Premium Diploma families.
• Assist Premium families with course planning, class registration, and curriculum purchases.
• Follow up with Premium families at the conclusion of each quarter.
• Relay important information to teachers.
• Manage student paperwork and offer guidance on college and scholarship opportunities, including writing recommendation letters.
• Engage in training and professional development opportunities provided.
• Organize consultation appointments using the Google Calendar worksheet.
• Learn and implement Diploma and Certification program requirements.
• Provide guidance during consultations.
• Confirm course selections within the Diploma Program.
• Ensure students remain aligned with graduation requirements.
• Enroll students in classes and arrange for book orders.
• Maintain clear communication records among families, educators, students, and the office.
• Knowledgeable about the reformed faith and classical Christian education in line with the Veritas Statement of Faith and Philosophy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Veritas curriculum and class offerings.
• Background in the field of education is highly preferred.
• Empathetic and possesses excellent customer relationship skills.
• Professional, organized, and open to learning.
• Ability to navigate various online educational tools and platforms.
• Flexible daily availability.
• Proficient in extensive typing on a QWERTY-style keyboard.
• Capable of extensive viewing of a computer monitor.
• Competent in speaking and hearing.
• Able to reach and bend as needed.
• Skilled in using hands to accomplish tasks.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred, though not mandatory.
• Fully remote work arrangement.
