Abrasives Systems Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Responsible for achieving forecast targets for Abrasives & Tools within the Abrasives Systems Division.

• Spearhead and implement significant growth strategies and initiatives in Southern California.

• Cultivate customer relationships and application processes to expand the Abrasives & Tools portfolio.

• Achieve documented cost savings.

• Work collaboratively with marketing, technical services, leadership, and support teams.

• Assist in the growth initiatives for strategic accounts.

• Oversee pipeline opportunities, strategic planning, and business reviews.

• Formulate sales strategies and adjust to market and competitive dynamics.

• Manage a diverse territory to foster growth with ASD products.

• Support channel partners, end users, and key accounts through regular sales calls and customer engagement.

• Prepare and deliver presentations and product demonstrations.

• Utilize Salesforce.com for account management.

• Partner with the 3M support network to enhance customer collaborations.

• Adhere to corporate policies, procedures, security standards, and safety regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma with five (5) years of field sales experience, or a bachelor's degree or higher with one (1) year of field sales experience.

• A current, valid Driver’s License.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.

• A Master’s degree in Business from an accredited institution (preferred qualification).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (preferred qualification).

• May require up to 20% domestic overnight travel within the territory.
