4th Engineer, Oil Chemical Tanker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Georgia.

📋 Description

• Manage and oversee the engine room along with other machinery equipment.

• Execute repairs and assist with dry docking procedures.

• Conduct operations involving chemical product cargo.

• Serve on an oil chemical tanker as part of the engine officers team.

• Implement a culture of safety and a proactive mindset during operations.

• Collaborate effectively in a diverse working environment.

• Ensure clear communication and provide leadership onboard.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid Certificate of Competency (COC) as per STCW Regulation III/2 with verification.

• Required STCW certifications relevant to the role.

• Proven experience in repairs and dry docking activities.

• Background working in a multicultural environment.

• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.

• Proficient in English.

• Commitment to safety culture and mindset.

• At least 8 months in the same rank on a comparable vessel.

• Familiarity with M/E Sulzer 7RT-flex84T-D.

• Experience in handling chemical product cargo operations.

• Recommended experience in the trading areas of the USA and Australia.
