3D Modeller, Mechanical Drafter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Develop precise 3D models of agricultural machinery, components, and assemblies utilizing Autodesk Inventor

• Reproduce existing machinery designs and components within CAD software

• Create and update comprehensive 2D manufacturing, fabrication, and detailed drawings

• Alter existing models and drawings in accordance with engineering directives

• Revise drawings when machinery designs or components undergo modifications

• Manage drawings, models, revisions, and documentation within Autodesk Vault

• Adhere to established design standards, filing structures, and drafting protocols

• Engage in regular video conferences with the engineering team based in New Zealand

• Review drawings, modifications, and priorities while addressing feedback and revision requests

⛳️ Requirements

• A formal mechanical engineering degree or accreditation is not mandatory; emphasis is placed on practical skills, strong CAD capabilities, and relevant drafting experience

• Hands-on experience with Autodesk Inventor in a professional drafting or manufacturing setting

• A robust portfolio showcasing 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings

• Immediate expertise in Autodesk Inventor is required

• SolidWorks experience may be considered only if there is strong, current proficiency in Autodesk Inventor

• Prior experience with Autodesk Vault is preferred

• Drafting experience in agricultural machinery, trailers, mechanical equipment, heavy fabrication, or manufacturing environments is preferred

• Experience in drafting sheet metal and fabricated steel components is preferred

• Familiarity with welding, bending, cutting, and assembly processes is preferred

• Proven experience working remotely with Australian or New Zealand engineering/manufacturing companies is preferred

• Proficient spoken and written English skills

• Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple drawings and revisions, follow engineering guidance, and seek clarification when needed

• An organized and dependable approach that ensures design integrity and accuracy
