This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +2 more countries.
• Oversee comprehensive planning, implementation, and student achievement across the Explorer, Researcher, and Innovator 1:1 Online Research Mentorship programs.
• Manage the Mentor Operations Lead and Junior Operations Coordinator.
• Supervise the execution of the mentor lifecycle, including KPI monitoring, performance evaluations, recertification, capacity forecasting, and reducing escalations.
• Direct the allocation of mentors, turnaround objectives, administrative SOPs, database accuracy, and follow-ups on student progress.
• Ensure alignment of mentor management systems and allocation processes with program results.
• Oversee customized student experiences ranging from 12 to over 50 weeks.
• Track multi-milestone research outputs and maintain communication with parents and families.
• Facilitate academic credits while supporting publication and competition entries.
• Implement a 5-star outcome strategy to enhance student success rates.
• Act as the primary point of contact for escalations involving students, families, and mentors.
• Develop systems for tracking, analyzing, intervening, and predicting escalations.
• Review mentor KPIs and performance assessments, share best practices, and promote continuous improvement.
• Provide operational guidelines and oversee Checkpoint System tracking.
• Convene Academic and Scientific Review Committees in collaboration with Indigo staff.
• Monitor student progress via dashboards alongside the Operations Lead, Student Success, and Indigo Ops teams.
• Analyze operational metrics and NPS to identify service gaps and implement scalable automated processes.
• Maintain integration with Student Success Teams and Crimson Education stakeholders.
• 3–5 years of experience in education, mentoring, academic coaching, or youth development organizations.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in directly managing teams.
• Familiarity with high school research, academic writing, citation standards, and the journal publication process.
• Understanding of international education systems and US/UK college admissions, including the Common App and STEM supplements.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, and learning systems/CRM tools.
• Ability to mentor, guide, and hold operational staff accountable to performance metrics.
• Highly organized, with a strong capacity to manage asynchronous workflows across various time zones.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• A high-empathy, client-focused approach for engaging with high-achieving students and families.
• Capability to resolve cross-cultural and communication challenges.
• Ability to identify essential KPIs, monitor them, detect engagement drop-offs, and implement timely interventions.
