Zone Installation Specialist, Medical Imaging

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +7 more states.

📋 Description

• Acquire knowledge of the installation process while building relationships with customers and addressing their concerns.

• Execute installation, troubleshooting, and repair tasks across at least one medical imaging modality.

• Attain qualifications to work in multiple modalities as required.

• Stay informed about technological advancements and prevailing trends in the industry.

• Seek out both formal and informal training opportunities.

• Implement best practices and manage personal schedules effectively.

• Provide assistance to fellow team members.

• Complete timesheets, service work orders, expense reports, Field Change Orders, preventative maintenance, installation documentation, site service documentation, and related paperwork within designated timeframes.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a diagnostic imaging field or hospital-based service environment, or over 3 years in electromechanical industries.

• Experience and training with image-guided therapy devices is preferred.

• Capability to comprehend and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking principles.

• Proficiency in installing, diagnosing, and repairing equipment.

• Familiarity with necessary tools and testing equipment.

• Associate degree in electronics or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to fulfill the physical, cognitive, and environmental demands of Field Service, with or without accommodation.

• Capacity to work in an office, home office, remote setting, and in a hospital or healthcare environment.

• Willingness and capability to travel up to 100% by car, air, train, or bus.

• Flexibility to accommodate weekend stays and occasional international travel, including overnight stays for multiple weeks.

• Availability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts.

• Competence to safely handle radiation sources and/or radioactive materials and wear necessary personal protective equipment.

• US work authorization is mandatory; candidates needing current or future visa sponsorship will not be considered.

• Must live in or be within commuting distance of AL, AR, FL, GA, LA, MS, NC, SC, TN, or TX.
