YouTube Video Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gain insights into their goals, branding, and vision for each video project.

• Edit raw video footage into captivating, high-quality videos ready for publication.

• Design custom graphics and animation elements that are in line with client branding.

• Source and integrate appropriate music and sound effects.

• Apply SEO strategies to enhance YouTube video content.

• Deliver final video files in the appropriate format for each platform.

• Manage, back up, and organize video files effectively.

• Stay updated with YouTube policies, trends, and best practices.

• Enhance and streamline the editing process to fulfill client requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–2 years of professional video editing experience, preferably in the YouTube domain.

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve.

• Strong storytelling abilities with a solid understanding of pacing and narrative structure.

• Familiarity with YouTube SEO strategies and policies.

• Outstanding attention to detail and a strong sense of visual aesthetics.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Capability to manage and prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines.

• Ability to adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual style.

• A portfolio or reel showcasing editing skills is required.

• Fluency in English is mandatory; additional languages are advantageous.

• Experience with YouTube Studio, Google Analytics, and Search Console is a plus.

• Experience in an agency setting is an added benefit.

• Experience in a SaaS start-up environment is a bonus.

• Having a personal YouTube channel is a significant plus.
