AI Video Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Edit short-form direct-response video advertisements for platforms like Meta, TikTok, and others.

• Cut user-generated content (UGC), testimonials, product demonstrations, and founder-led videos.

• Generate various video iterations utilizing different hooks, calls-to-action (CTAs), and angles for testing.

• Utilize editing software such as CapCut and Premiere.

• Leverage AI tools including ChatGPT, Pika, Descript, and Runway to enhance workflow efficiency.

• Develop scripts and write copy for video concepts.

• Create high-converting static ad creatives for paid social media campaigns.

• Employ templates and systems such as Butter and Creative OS for expedited processes.

• Transform competitor inspiration and swipe files into on-brand advertisements.

• Produce multiple static ad variations to test headlines, layouts, and offers.

• Collaborate closely with strategists and the growth team to implement concepts.

• Source and organize UGC, stock footage, hooks, and B-roll assets.

• Iterate rapidly based on performance metrics and feedback.

• Deliver a high volume of output while maintaining effectiveness.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in editing direct-response video advertisements for DTC brands.

• A strong portfolio showcasing high-performing paid social video ads.

• Significant experience in creating static ads for Meta.

• Proficiency in editing tools such as CapCut, Premiere, and/or After Effects.

• Working knowledge of Photoshop.

• In-depth understanding of performance marketing, including hooks, CTAs, and angles.

• Experience in writing or adapting copy for advertising creatives.

• Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT, Runway, and Pika.

• Ability to work efficiently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong communication skills in English.

• Nice-to-have: Skills in motion graphics.

• Nice-to-have: Experience with Creative OS, Foreplay, Butter, or AdCreative.ai.

• Nice-to-have: Understanding of funnels, offers, and paid social strategy.
