xECM for SuccessFactors Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Design and execute integrations between OpenText Extended ECM and SAP SuccessFactors.

• Configure and personalize Extended ECM for document management, records management, archiving, and HR workflows.

• Enhance SuccessFactors modules by connecting them with ECM content.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to map metadata and maintain consistency between HR data and content repositories.

• Ensure adherence to GDPR, HIPAA, and EEOC through strategies for content retention and security.

• Diagnose technical issues and create customized integration solutions.

• Implement improvements based on user input.

• Lead or assist implementation projects utilizing SAP Activate, Agile, or comparable methodologies.

• Facilitate workshops and collect business requirements.

• Offer training and support to HR and IT stakeholders.

• Effectively convey technical solutions to non-technical audiences.

• Report directly to the Director of Delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Human Resources Technology, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered in place of a degree.

• Extensive knowledge of OpenText Extended ECM features, including document and records management, workflows, and content archiving.

• Experience with Content Server, Business Workspaces, and Archive Center.

• Capability to configure and customize ECM for HR applications, particularly in SuccessFactors environments.

• Proficiency in SAP SuccessFactors modules, including Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance & Goals, and Learning.

• Familiarity with the SuccessFactors data model, OData, SFAPI, and HR objects.

• Understanding of People Profile and document embedding.

• Practical experience integrating OpenText ECM with SuccessFactors using pre-built connectors or custom APIs.

• Proficient in SAP Integration Suite, MuleSoft, or Dell Boomi.

• Skilled in metadata mapping between HR systems and content platforms.

• Experience managing HR-related unstructured content such as resumes, contracts, and certifications.

• Knowledge of compliance frameworks and content lifecycle governance.

• Working knowledge of JavaScript, Python, or Java.

• Experience with OData query language and basic SQL.

• Understanding of cloud, hybrid, and on-premises deployment models for OpenText Extended ECM.

• Familiarity with SAP BTP services, including SAP Cloud Integration and Document Management.

• Comprehensive understanding of recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and learning workflows.

• Ability to optimize HR operations by aligning structured data and unstructured content.

• Experience automating approvals and minimizing manual content handling.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication skills across HR, IT, and business teams.

• Experience managing projects, including scope, timeline, and stakeholder coordination.

• Client-facing consulting experience, encompassing requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and user training.

• Certifications in OpenText Extended ECM or SAP SuccessFactors are preferred.

• Familiarity with SAP Document Management Service or OpenText Documentum is preferred.

• Experience in change management is preferred.

• Analytical mindset to monitor system usage, performance, and optimization opportunities.
