Working Student – Legal Research, Platform Implementation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Conduct research and evaluate legal inquiries within the fund sector.

• Examine limited partnership agreements, subscription documents, and regulatory obligations across Germany, Luxembourg, the UK, and other jurisdictions.

• Collaborate with fund managers, law firms, and fund administrators to comprehend legal and compliance procedures.

• Convert legal and compliance procedures into scalable, standardized workflows on Vestlane.

• Develop subscription documents into production-ready digital workflows incorporating form logic, field mapping, and DocuSign e-signature integration.

• Assist with client implementations from document evaluation to go-live.

• Identify recurring legal and regulatory needs and communicate them with Product and Engineering.

• Partner with Legal & Compliance on legal-tech processes, templates, and documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently studying law, preferably from the fourth semester onward, or have already obtained a law degree.

• Open to students of business law (LL.B./LL.M.) and legal trainees (Referendar:innen).

• Genuine interest in corporate, business, or capital markets law.

• Capability to navigate complex legal questions and translate requirements into efficient, repeatable processes.

• Organized and detail-oriented working approach.

• Eagerness to learn about technology and digital tools and processes.

• Proficient in written and client-facing communication in both German and English.

• Prior exposure to fund law, fund structures, or investor onboarding is beneficial but not mandatory.
