Workforce Management Solutions Architect – Techo-Functional

📋 Description

• Facilitate discovery workshops with business stakeholders to gain insights into demand drivers, arrival patterns/seasonality, labor standards, staffing strategies, and scheduling challenges.

• Convert business insights into actionable requirements and prioritizations.

• Conduct fit-gap analysis across vendor/product alternatives and existing tools.

• Develop forecasting workflows and operational models for demand and staffing strategies.

• Establish scheduling design patterns, rules, templates, segment windows, trial schedule sets, and optimization constraints.

• Create solution guardrails ensuring accuracy, auditability, transparency, validation, exception management, and what-if analysis.

• Collaborate with engineering and technology leaders to turn functional designs into configuration and build plans.

• Configure and tailor vendor applications to align with business requirements.

• Oversee the complete lifecycle execution for enhancements, defects, and releases.

• Keep documentation and artifacts updated in standard tracking tools and processes.

• Specify reporting and analytics requirements for forecasting accuracy, staffing versus plan, schedule adherence/coverage, and operational results.

• Collaborate on dashboards and operational reporting.

• Act as a functional point leader across HR, operations, and technology teams.

• Foster alignment, decision-making, training, enablement, and adoption among planners, schedulers, and managers.

• Engage with the WFM Community to share industry best practices and the latest innovations.

• Deliver enhancements, project requests, and defect resolutions with optimal, scalable solutions.

• Monitor product health and provide strategic direction to product and shared services teams.

• Mentor and develop team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience delivering Workforce Management solutions with extensive knowledge in forecasting, staffing, and scheduling.

• More than 7 years of experience working with WFM scheduling frameworks and forecasting principles.

• At least 6 years of experience in configuring, customizing, and debugging WFM solutions.

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience with large enterprise WFM platforms such as Infor WFM/Workbrain, UKG, Legion, or comparable tools.

• Over 3 years of collaborating with SaaS vendors to achieve business results.

• At least 3 years of experience in Agile environments, including change management and vendor negotiation.

• More than 3 years demonstrating strong communication and stakeholder leadership skills, with the capacity to drive decisions, manage competing priorities, and ensure execution.

• At least 2 years of experience showcasing analytical problem-solving and decision-making capabilities with a proven history of delivering scalable solutions.

• Over 2 years demonstrating a growth mindset while developing oneself and others.

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience.

• Experience in configuring and optimizing WFM platforms such as Infor, UKG, or Legion.

• Familiarity with integrating WFM platforms with HR systems like Workday.

• Experience with AI in WFM, automation, and digital employee experience platforms.

• Proficient in reporting/analytics and comfortable collaborating with BI teams/tools.

• Experience in large, matrix organizations.

• Understanding of Agile delivery, Jira/user stories, project governance, and release/change management.

• Experience leading WFM strategy during mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures.
