Workforce Development Consultant – Mining

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance on professions, skills, and qualifications related to critical minerals mining and mineral processing.

• Analyze labor demand and identify training deficiencies.

• Collaborate with colleges and employers to develop training and career pathways.

• Support the strategy for industry partnerships.

• Ensure the technical content is reviewed for accuracy.

• Contribute to qualifications and narrative of past performance for WIL proposals when authorized to represent.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in industry, research, or training related to mining, mineral processing, metallurgy, or geology.

• Understanding of the workforce and skill requirements in the sector.

• Experience collaborating with employers or training initiatives.

• Proficient in clear technical writing.

• Comfortable working as a project-based contract collaborator; remote positions available in the US.

• Experience in mine safety training (preferred).

• Educational background in mining, geology, or materials (preferred).

• Previous experience in federal critical minerals research or workforce projects (preferred).
