Training Specialist – Reentry

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate the training and technical assistance requirements of reentry and diversion programs.

• Develop and present training sessions, webinars, toolkits, and coaching for program staff and partners.

• Provide guidance to sites on evidence-based reentry and treatment methodologies and their implementation.

• Assist sites in establishing data collection processes and performance measurement systems.

• Facilitate coordination among cross-system partners, including corrections, courts, treatment providers, and community services.

• Contribute qualifications and past performance narratives to WIL proposals when authorized to be included.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in delivering training and technical assistance or supporting program implementation for reentry, diversion, or justice-involved substance-use initiatives.

• In-depth knowledge of evidence-based practices related to reentry and treatment.

• Excellent facilitation abilities and strong skills in producing written deliverables.

• Experience collaborating with corrections, courts, or community-based service providers.

• Comfortable collaborating as a project-based contractor in a remote setting within the US.

• Previous experience in federal justice training and technical assistance roles.

• Perspective gained from lived experience or peer recovery.

• Background in data collection and performance measurement.
