Workday User Experience Analyst III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +12 more states.

📋 Description

• Engage in enterprise-level projects aimed at enhancing the usability, adoption, and performance of Workday across HCM, Payroll, and Finance modules.

• Act as the main escalation point for intricate and high-impact system challenges related to Workday Finance functionalities.

• Lead the resolution and root cause analysis for complex issues within Workday Finance.

• Collaborate with senior leadership, technical teams, and business units to outline and execute strategic improvements.

• Create and sustain advanced self-help resources and knowledge base materials in collaboration with the Knowledge Manager.

• Promote data-driven decision-making by examining system usage trends, user feedback, and operational metrics.

• Design and implement training programs, change management strategies, and communication plans for system deployments and upgrades.

• Represent the Workday Solution Center in enterprise governance forums and strategic planning meetings.

• Take part in testing and documentation efforts for significant configuration changes and system releases as required.

• Identify avenues for automation, simplification, and innovation.

• Draft new and revise existing knowledge articles, training materials, and content for the User Support AI tool.

• Provide User Support in the realm of Workday Finance within the case management system.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

• Relevant experience may replace educational requirements on an equivalent basis.

• At least 4 years of experience in a systems analyst, operations, or support capacity with escalating responsibilities in HR, Payroll, or Finance systems.

• Expert-level understanding of Workday Finance modules, including configuration and integration points.

• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at various levels.

• Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and communication skills, particularly in written form.

• Experience with advanced reporting, dashboards, and data visualization tools within Workday.

• Capability to manage complex projects and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.

• Workday Pro or an equivalent advanced certification is preferred.

• All remote work must be conducted within one of the MCW registered payroll states: WI, AL, AZ, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, TN, TX, and UT.
