Workday Solutions Architect – Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Oversee the functional configuration of Workday Financial modules.

• Collect and evaluate business requirements from finance stakeholders.

• Design and execute comprehensive financial business processes.

• Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), testing phases, and production deployment.

• Offer support post-go-live and contribute to system enhancements.

• Collaborate with finance teams to drive process improvements and optimization.

• Ensure adherence to financial policies and reporting standards.

• Manage business processes, configurations, and stakeholder engagements without involvement in integrations or technical development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with most or all of the following Workday Financial modules: Banking and Settlement, Budgets, Business Asset Accounting, Business Asset Tracking, Cash Management, Common Financial Management, Financial Accounting, Miscellaneous Payments, Organizations and Roles, Supplier Accounts, Suppliers.

• In-depth understanding of Workday Financials.

• Experience in configuration, business process setup, and functional design.

• Strong knowledge of finance operations and accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).

• Proficiency in Workday reporting, including both Basic and Advanced reports.

• Ability to work closely with business users and stakeholders.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Workday Financials certification (Functional) is preferred.

• Experience in end-to-end implementation or support projects is preferred.

• Familiarity with multi-entity and multi-currency environments is preferred.

• This is a strictly functional role; no integrations or technical development required.
