This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +5 more states.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Workday HCM, Talent, Timekeeping, Benefits, Payroll, Reporting, and Integrations.
• Create, maintain, and distribute both standard and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics.
• Configure, maintain, test, and troubleshoot Workday business processes, security roles, reports, dashboards, and system functionalities.
• Collaborate with People Operations, Finance, Operations, Payroll, Benefits, and IT teams to understand business needs and suggest system solutions.
• Support Workday releases, enhancements, system updates, and ongoing improvement initiatives.
• Assist in the management and monitoring of Workday integrations and data interfaces.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory, organizational, and security standards.
• Analyze workforce data and trends to aid business decision-making.
• Engage in system implementations, upgrades, testing, and project-related tasks.
• Investigate and propose process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.
• Offer end-user support, troubleshooting, and training for Workday functionalities.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, job aids, and training materials.
• Work with internal and external partners to resolve system issues and support organizational goals.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to streamline and simplify existing processes and practices.
• Communicate with users, key stakeholders, and leadership about system issues, enhancements, upgrades/releases, and related topics.
• Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a Business-related field.
• At least two years of experience as an HR systems analyst or possess at least 2 active Workday Pro Certifications in areas such as HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, and Absence/Timekeeping.
• Experience supporting multiple Workday modules, including HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Timekeeping, Talent, Integrations, and Reporting/Analytics.
• Proficient in advanced Excel skills.
• Must possess analytical skills; be detail-oriented and understand the downstream effects of configuration and business process changes.
• Strong problem-solving ability and the capacity to apply creative solutions to potential challenges.
• Project management skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
• Excellent time management skills, particularly in meeting deadlines.
