Workday Integrations Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and implement Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, Workday Web Services, Workday Extend, and Workday Prism Analytics.

• Create both inbound and outbound integrations between Workday and external applications.

• Construct integrations using middleware solutions such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar platforms.

• Develop scalable data transformation and orchestration solutions.

• Evaluate business requirements and convert them into technical integration designs.

• Produce High-Level Design and Low-Level Design documentation.

• Create API-based integration solutions utilizing REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and XSLT.

• Ensure that integrations adhere to enterprise architecture, security, and governance standards.

• Monitor the health of integrations and proactively pinpoint issues.

• Address integration failures, resolve production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures.

• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end business processes.

• Maintain data integrity, privacy, and compliance standards.

• Manage Workday security domains and integration system users as necessary.

• Implement error handling, logging, auditing, and notification systems.

• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Payroll, IT, and external vendors.

• Engage in requirements gathering, solution assessments, testing, and deployment.

• Support Workday releases and conduct regression testing.

• Provide dependable and automated business solutions across Finance, HCM, Procurement, Payroll, CRM, and other enterprise applications.

• Success metrics include integration uptime and reliability, incident resolution times, successful project completions, reduced manual processes, improved data quality and accuracy, and stakeholder satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

• Over 4 years of experience in developing Workday integrations.

• More than 2 years of experience with middleware technologies such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, or equivalent platforms.

• Experience in implementing enterprise application integrations in extensive environments.

• Proficiency in Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services (SOAP & REST APIs).

• Familiarity with XML, XSLT, JSON, REST APIs, SOAP APIs, SFTP/file-based integrations, SQL, and data analysis.

• Experience with version control systems; Git is preferred.

• Experience integrating Workday with Salesforce, Active Directory/Azure AD, payroll providers, benefits providers, financial systems, data warehouses, and reporting platforms.

• Workday Pro Certification(s), Workday Studio Certification, MuleSoft Developer Certification, and knowledge of Workday Extend, Workday Prism Analytics, cloud-native integrations, event-driven architectures, and HCM/Financials domains are preferred.
