Workday HCM Optimization Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver Workday solutions from initial assessments through comprehensive transformations.

• Oversee the Workday Practice Optimization program, which includes production support, planned assessments, and Phase X deployments.

• Spearhead the design and development of solutions for customers, optimizing their Workday tenant or during a Phase X deployment.

• Assist in streamlining client processes on assigned projects.

• Facilitate optimization sessions, gather client requirements, create and configure innovative solutions, and collaborate with other Workday consultants.

• Engage directly with clients and/or consultants to gather requirements and develop design documents.

• Direct the team in the design, development, and testing support of Workday modules.

• Communicate effectively with team members on cross-functional issues.

• Articulate functional challenges and solutions to both internal and client teams.

• Contribute to the innovation and continuous enhancement of processes and assets.

• Provide consultative support while striving for high customer satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five (5) years of experience using Workday HCM or other ERPs in an HCM role; OR a Master's degree with at least three (3) years of experience in the same areas.

• Experience can be substituted for formal education, such as having no degree with nine (9) years of experience using Workday HCM or other ERPs in an HCM capacity.

• At least three (3) years of hands-on work experience with Workday.

• Currently possess Workday HCM Core certification.

• Proven experience executing projects within a structured methodology.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including RFP responses, white papers, Workday demonstrations, and client presentations.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

• Workday Public Sector experience is preferred.

• Currently hold an active Workday HCM Certification.

• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft products.
