Workday Financials Certified Consultant – ERP, Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Lead or assist in configuring Workday Financials modules, including General Ledger / Financial Accounting, Procurement, Supplier Accounts, Customer Accounts, Expenses, Banking & Settlement, Business Assets, and Projects.

• Facilitate requirements-gathering and design workshops with finance and accounting stakeholders from the client side.

• Develop the Foundation Data Model (FDM), business processes, security roles, and reporting structures.

• Aid in data conversion, integration testing, end-user testing, and cutover activities.

• Identify and resolve configuration issues, proposing solutions that adhere to Workday best practices.

• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and assist in the development of junior consultants.

• Collaborate directly with client finance teams to translate business needs into Workday configurations, lead functional workstreams, and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid Workday Financials certification (Financial Accounting or Workday Financials Core); additional certifications in Procurement, Expenses, Projects, or Reporting are advantageous.

• At least 1 year of practical experience with Workday Financials in implementation, support, or optimization projects.

• Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes, including record-to-report, procure-to-pay, and order-to-cash.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Proficiency in both French and English (spoken and written) is necessary to effectively serve our clients in Québec and North America.

• Excellent communication, workshop facilitation, and client-facing skills.

• Legally authorized to work in Canada.

• Willingness to travel occasionally to client locations (up to 25%).
