Workday Extend Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with specialized Extend consultants to ensure the effective delivery of Workday Extend solutions.

• Oversee Workday Extend projects in partnership with customers.

• Define project scope, gather requirements, document processes, implement, deploy, and provide support for applications utilizing the Workday Extend platform tools.

• Foster customer relationships to understand their requirements thoroughly.

• Ensure that solutions align with customer needs, are fit for purpose, and are commercially viable.

• Mentor, develop, and train colleagues within the Workday practice on Workday Extend.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in XML, REST, SOAP, and JSON.

• Familiarity with an object-oriented programming language, ideally J2EE.

• Workday HCM certification or experience with comparable HCM/ERP systems.

• Proven experience in designing applications that address business and technical challenges.

• Solid understanding of cloud computing and web services.

• Strong customer orientation with the ability to assess needs, build relationships, and manage expectations effectively.

• Exceptional communication skills, including proficiency in remote working environments.

• Capability to deliver formal presentations to senior client audiences.

• Strong commercial acumen and comprehension of project and business dynamics.

• Broad knowledge of business and technology, along with insights into HR and HR technology industry trends.

• Capacity to work under tight deadlines and make informed decisions under pressure.

• Nice to have: proficiency in additional middleware/application development platforms.
