Consulting Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Spearhead visionary discussions with customers regarding new and evolving open source technologies.

• Define and shape Mirantis solutions to align with corporate strategy.

• Cultivate relationships with both technical and business stakeholders, translating emerging technologies into practical strategies.

• Design, implement, optimize, and troubleshoot cloud-native and AI/ML workloads within Kubernetes and public cloud settings.

• Assist customers in scaling their infrastructure, modernizing application architectures, and embracing next-generation AI and cloud solutions.

• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and enablement programs to expedite customer adoption.

• Engage with open source communities, contribute to projects, and advocate for customer needs in upstream development.

• Guide customers through intricate technology decisions during pre-sales and post-sales consulting.

• Collaborate with customers to implement scalable and forward-thinking solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in open source ecosystems (e.g., OpenStack, CNCF, LF AI & Data, OpenInfra).

• Proficiency in Kubernetes and AI/ML platforms (e.g., Kubeflow, Ray, MLflow).

• Enthusiasm for emerging technologies, next-generation cloud strategies, and AI infrastructure.

• Capability to define direction, take ownership, and drive innovation in a fast-paced environment.

• Practical experience with cloud automation, DevOps, and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Helm).

• Outstanding presentation and storytelling abilities, influencing both engineers and executives.

• Background in pre-sales, solutions architecture, or professional services with a consultative mindset.

• Preferred: active contributions to open source projects, working groups, or governance bodies.

• Preferred: experience presenting at OpenStack Summit, KubeCon, AI Summit, or similar events.

• Preferred: knowledge of hybrid and multi-cloud strategies utilizing open source technologies.
